found this quite entertaining, yes it has twists and it's simply written, which suited me just fine as I could listen whilst driving etc

At first I was worried as I don’t tend to enjoy American narration, but this was really good. The story was maybe not what you’d expect from the blurb (in a good way), and although I guessed the twist, it didn’t really detract from my enjoyment.
