Eventhough this is a love story, I didn't feel the love or emotions. I am not sure what is was, but the narrator definitely didn't help. His voice was very monotone, which made it difficult to listen to. There was no acting or excitement in his voice so the story sounded very boring. Add to that, this is a very slow-burn story without much happening, so you often loose your concentration and the storyline. Then even when something did happen, it was over quickly and drowned in the monotone voice of the narrator, which made the story bland. This just shows how absolutely important the choice of narrator is!! The narration can make or break the story. This narration broke it😒
More, this back and forth - first the company is not ok with the relationship, then they are, then not....it did not make any sense - especially since it seemed like their work was a huge success. So it seemed to be adversity for adversity sake and not to do anything for the story. It just didn't make sense🤷🏼‍♀️
