The denouement of the story had the main character taking silly risks that nearly caused her demise - hard to believe a detective at the Met would behave as she did

I really enjoyed this book. I would definitely recommend it. it's a good and easy listen.

Thin character development. Didn't really care what happened to any of them.

Shallow story development.

I'm so relieved that I didn't use a credit to listen to this audio book. The narrator did a good job and, on the whole, the characters were easy to distinguish. However, the actual story was silly. There were brief elements that were believable but, on the whole, the story lines were far removed from reality. It is difficult to illustrate the point without giving away spoilers but this book is not for anyone who enjoys well crafted, well written crime fiction. If you can listen to the book for free by all means try it, but, as lawyers says, buyer beware.
