This is a perfect holiday listen...well if u don't mind people looking at u as u laugh your head off on sun lounger by yourself 😂..the narrator was excellent (I'm a sucker for a Scottish accent) overall brilliant, funny, interesting and heart warming book..going to find her other books now.

Very funny book and beautifully written from start to finish. A great lesson in be carefully what you wish for. I will be listening to more by Johanna Bolouri.

This book was a slow starter for me and I couldn’t connect to the characters at first but as I kept with it I found myself laughing at some of the outrageous things the characters said and did. It’s an easy read but be warned it can be very rude so if that isn’t your cup of tea don’t bother. For some reason the Scottish narrators tone just really emphasised the humorous parts and carried the story for me.

Absolutely loved this book- so many funny moments from a strong female lead character & the narration was executed perfectly.

Have listened to Joanna's other book and every month I always look to see if there are any more from her. She's an incredibly witty author!

First time I have listened to Her work and it was brilliant. Down to earth, realistic, in parts downright dirty and hysterical. Caroline Guthrie narrates superbly. All round entertainment. Language is, well, realistic which some will find appalling but I live in the really world and it adds to the story. I will not share anything in the way of spoilers just read it. As I said, it's brilliant.
