The Light That Blinds Us by Andy Darcy Theo is a book I’ve been wanting to dive into ever since I discovered his page on Instagram. The cover immediately piqued my interest, and after reading the blurb, I was hooked right away.
The narrator, Joe Jameson, does a fantastic job bringing Andy Darcy Theo’s debut to life. He captures the emotion and flow of the dialogue beautifully, allowing the characters’ relationships and struggles to really shine throughout the story. That said, there were a few moments when the voices of the female characters were a little difficult to distinguish from one another, but overall his performance added a lot to the listening experience.
All in all, I highly recommend this audiobook. It’s a fantastic way to experience Andy Darcy Theo’s debut — an engaging and immersive listen, especially if you follow along with the physical copy. I’m really excited to continue the series and see where Andy takes the crew in book two!
