Enjoyable conclusion to this trilogy, though it does leave room for the tale to continue. There were unexpected twists that I did not predict.

The best one yet. I devoured this, the third and final novel in the three-volume "Wayward Pines" series, in one Sunday binge, an d although I kind of wish I could have made it last longer my lack of will power, and the sheer cinematic pace and drive of the story, made me gulp my way through the narrative faster and more franticaly, as befits story ... Atmospheric, poignant, painfull, sad, optimistic ... An absolute emotional rollercoaster of a final part. I cannot praise this 'take' on the classic apocalypse / extinction genre highly enough. I know it's going to stay with me for a very long time.

Loved this trilogy! I find the narrator really good at conveying the characters but speaks too slowly so have to listen on 1.2 speed. I hope there is a 4th book I want to know what happens to them!
