About this listen

The survivors are back in book three of the Graham's Resolution series. In the tiny town of Cascade, Washington, the members of Graham's camp and the Preppers welcome spring and begin to thrive as a community. Meanwhile, dark forces invade the peace they've cultivated. Their malevolent common enemy from the past emerges, and suddenly the pandemic isn't what it seems at all.

I enjoyed the development of the intricacies of the story a lot more in this one then the previous one. Am excited for the fourth instalment!

This went in a completely new direction and loved it, looking back there were hints. As I am binge listening to this series I am so invested in the characters and not going to deny there a tear (not saying more spoilers). This book didnt seem to have the production issues that the other two have had, which werent annoying and only noticeable as I had read the reviews.

The narrator was new to me and it did take me a while to get used to him, but it worked.

Great direction wasnt expecting it

the change of voice of over person was understandable but choice was bad. nothing wrong with the new narrators voice but his accent was very strong and made the characters sound completely different. well spoken characters now sounded a bit sleezy and a bit like a hill Billy which I found very off putting. found this book hard work .......I usually say I couldn't out it down but it'll this case I could barely keep going. as for the writer there were the usual clumsy errors which by book 3 are just unacceptable. for example in 52 make your mind up who is driving....clarise or graham! and more annoying than that is that the author is male..... and therefore yet again is blind to the development of relationships that are vital to the story and vital to the reader. jumping and skipping over important developments is something this writer regularly does and puts me off reading any of his further stuff. for example the build up to the relationship between the main characters graham and the woman he meets in his lodge who turns out to be his partner and the relationship between the other 2 main characters clarisa and Dalton! on both cases you build it up slowly keeping g us on the edge if our seats waiting in excited anticipation and then skip over it and suddenly they are an item !! downfall of male writers i guess ..... very frustrating. will not persue this writer. excuse my poor grammar I am writing from my phone. I have an excuse unlike this author.

great read though the usual issues
