About this listen

Five friends gather round a campfire above the jagged cliffs below....

Annie. The life and soul of the party. Who can’t afford the glittering life that means so much to her.

Tristan. Who is head over heels in love with someone in the group. But it’s not the woman he’s married to.

Jack. Who can’t admit his teenage son could be dangerous.

Kelly. The new wife. The one nobody really likes.

And then there’s me. The quiet one. Who’ll stop at nothing to keep my little boy safe.

The five of us have been friends since we were children. We think we know every scar, every secret, every story. But by the third night, one of us will be dead.

How far will we go to keep our secrets hidden? And when does being close to someone start becoming dangerous?

Twists and turns kept me hooked, couldn’t second guessed the plot! Great narrator! Can’t wait for book number 3.

Loved it!

Lots of twists and turns, every time you though you’d solved it, the goalposts changed!

Absolutely great!

I'm very fussy about audiobooks but this was really good and held my attention until the end. Have to say that it didn't end particularly well (IMHO) but it is definitely worth a listen!

Great!

Gripping right from the start. The build of the story around each character was excellent.. right to the very end.

Thoroughly enjoyable

BUT why do some British authors not use grammar correctly?! I'm no expert but It becomes so distracting to (always) hear "Me & (whoever)" instead of correctly using "I". Along with the "was sat" of course. If you can get past that, it's an enjoyable book.

An interesting story
