Wow wow wow!!! The butcher is such a persistent issue and keeps coming back to the town. The savage nature of the murders and trophy taking comes back again and again. The thing that gets me most though, is the levels of manipulation used by the butcher this time. The seemless integration in to relationships, planning escape plans by getting other people arrested and being a completely emotional vacuum.

Sian has created such a good series with the butcher and this time it reaches its finale. I’ve loved every book and development along the way

The series ended really well. All threads tied up neatly. I enjoyed the whole story and the narration was good.

This is the fourth and final book in this series. After listening to the first three books in the series this one confused me a little. It follows the story in a fashion but it my mind didn't make any sense and was an unnecessary addition to the series. But that's just my opinion.
