About this listen

Beware: contains badman language, raw sexuality, and high levels of lyrical danger. Sick.

The Kurupt FM crew are back. Due to (they claim) overwhelming demand from the fans, pirate radio veterans MC Grindah, DJ Steves, DJ Beats, and their manager, Chabuddy G, return to provide vital insight on six burning issues: Nature, Politics, TV & Film, The Future, History, and Travel. Prepare to come away, if not better informed, certainly with a better understanding of what a garage MC reckons about some stuff.

Episodes
  • Ep. 1: Nature
    Nov 12 2020

Grindah asks the question on everyone's lips - which is the best animal (for him to get tattooed on his lower back)? The guys also get to grips with global warming - or 'warmsing' - and Steves gets to grips with a pigeon.

    Guest starring Lolly Adefope.

  • Ep. 2: TV & Film
    Nov 12 2020

MC Grindah unveils his epic biopic, and the challenging and prestigious task of casting begins. The boys also conduct rigorous analysis of the best film genres (Beats – action; Chabuddy – 70s erotica), and of the best TV show on air - which is, objectively, A Place in the Sun.

Guest starring Matt Lucas and Daniel Sylvester Woolford.

  • Ep. 3: Future
    Nov 12 2020

A fully informed look at the future, featuring one of the country’s foremost scientific minds - aka Angel’s school science teacher. Steves comes up with his own very specific – and filmic – idea of what his future holds, which could put the whole crew’s future in jeopardy.

    Guest starring Paul Chahidi.

MC GRINDAH

Question: is it a crime to be the most talented MC in the game? Probably is actually – explains why so many haters and feds are trying to shut man down. Creator of the biggest pirate radio station in the world, more or less, Kurupt FM. Put simply, the best-looking, most legendary lyrical artist to ever bless mic. So, a leader of men, yes, but also probably the humblest individual you’ll meet, especially given how incredible the skills are. And they are genuinely incredible. Can’t stress that enough, really.

DJ STEVES

Weed activist. Researcher and truth seeker. The Earth is flat and is being governed by shapeshifting lizards. Time to wake up people.

DJ BEATS

Right hand man to MC Grindah. The Lieutenant to his General. The DJ Luck to his MC Neat. But better, if anything. And that is really saying something if you think about it, cos Luck and Neat are still banging it out in Napa after all these years. Proud dad. (And proud DJ. Prouder DJ, if anything.)

I think this and the previous series of podcasts might be the best stuff they’ve done, and I love the film and series.

Rest are irrelevant

Brilliant podcast, it’s the Kurupt FM crew at their finest. Grindah is priceless in this, especially his exchanges with Chabuds in season 2.

On par with the mockumentary shenanigans
