An enjoyable story that captured the strained relationship between the two lead. I am a massive fan of the narrators so it also made for a great listening experience

Above average writing, though I think I would have loved it more if it wasn't leaning into tropes that I don't much appreciate. We get the miscommunication and the ships-in-the-night of missed chances, both of which are just a bit ugh.

But the small town aspect, the friendly banter, the friends coming together for silly adventures, that was all pretty nice.
