Summary
There's a serial killer on the loose.
When bodies start washing up along the banks of the River Thames, DI Henley fears it is the work of Peter Olivier, the notorious Jigsaw Killer. But it can’t be him: Olivier is already behind bars, and Henley was the one who put him there.
The race is on before more bodies are found.

Great story
Loved it. Great characters and storyline with a great pace. Really really enjoyed it, sorry there isn’t another one until the series! (Yet!)

Loved this!
The Jigsaw Man was right up my street. A lot of people said it was a bit too gruesome for them, but I watch these kinds of thrillers in film or TV, so it didn't phase me. I loved the story and the narration was great. 5☆

Really hope this will become a series!
DI Anjelica Henley caught the serial killer known as The Jigsaw Man and he is now in prison. But now someone appears to be copying his crimes and leaving body parts all around London.
This book is one hell of a thrilling ride and is well written and brilliantly plotted as well as very gruesome. Just my cup of tea! It's a nail biting game of cat and mouse and it grabbed my attention and kept hold of me until the thrilling finale. There is a hint of Silence of the Lambs when DI Henley visits the Jigsaw Man in prison, which gave me goosebumps. Can't wait for book 2 in the series!

Great story but not great on audio
I was looking forward to this book as it had been recommended to me. However, I wish I had read it instead of listened to it on Audio...the narrator didn't take any break between paragraphs and ploughed straight through chapters and I found it hard to keep up at times. There were a few jumps from now to "12 hours earlier" which made the story hard to follow at times due to the lack of pauses by the narrator.
As the book progressed, the narrator did add more inflections to her voice but 2 thirds of the book were read quite monotone and it was difficult to interpret the monologue of the different characters as they were read with the same hushed voice and accent.
The story overall was quite good but I cant help but feel the narrator ruined its overall impact.
