Terry and Eddie are criminals. They are not especially successful criminals. Only now, Eddie has a plan that’s going to make them both rich. The plan is simple. The plan is brilliant. The plan is fool proof.

Except there are no bigger fools than Terry and Eddie.

Big-time mobsters, double-crosses, plans gone awry, payback and retribution—The Irish Goodbye is classic Don Winslow, a living legend of crime fiction.

Fantastic dialogue and narration. Made me laugh out loud several times. Winslow is a master at his craft, as is Welliver.

Short but sweet

This short story made my smile. The two reckless wannabe criminals were hilarious in their attempts to hit the big time.

The narration was excellent.

I will listen to more of Don Winslow short stories. Based on this book alone, he is the master of this genre.

Highly recommend

Good sleek production. The dumb villain characters were so much fun. Not the sort of thing I would normally choose, but really glad I did. Strongly recommend

Much more than expected
