I had the opportunity to listen to this audiobook and I'm so happy I came across it. I'm an introvert. I'm quiet and don't usually get too loud. It seems like most books on leadership are geared toward extroverts. If you're not loud and commanding, you can't lead. Well, this book changes the narrative. The author goes in depth on the unique strengths introverts posses that make them maybe even better leaders. Obviously there's more to it than just that, but if you're an introvert looking to be reminded about your strengths, listen to this book. It's very powerful!

Finally a Book Written for Introvert's

I was always very unsure of how to make the whole, "Climbing the corporate ladder"-thing work. I see these other people doing it, and they all seem so gregarious and outgoing, and I just felt that me and my introverted little self were never going to get there, even though my ambition and drive was higher than many of those people who are getting the promotions, and climbing the ladder. However, Michael Wu's insights on leveraging introverted strengths like deep listening and thoughtful decision-making felt incredibly validating. It was refreshing to learn strategies for communication, networking, and managing energy that don't involve forcing myself to be someone I'm not. Nick Gallagher's narration was also superb, his calming and engaging voice made the audiobook a pleasure to listen to and perfectly complemented the book's message. I'd highly recommend this book to any introvert looking to embrace their natural strengths and thrive in a leadership position without feeling the need to change who they are.

Many people think of being introverted as a problem or a hurdle you have to get past in business. What I love about this audiobook is how it leans into your natural state to still allow you the same success as your extroverted counterpart. It is nice that it doesn't tell you to be different or figure out a way to be extroverted. But it allows you to leverage your introverted self into a successful leadership role. It's nice to hear that. You don't have to be someone else to succeed. This audiobook will help you embrace your nature to still be a leader in the fast-paced business world.

An Introvert's dream!

I always thought being an introvert was a “negative” characteristic, but after listening to this audiobook, I now realize that it’s not a bad thing. It was only my perception that it was not as good as being an extrovert. I was comparing myself to other leaders which was holding me back. I now have a better understanding of my strengths as an introvert and how I can use these to my advantage. I also have some ideas of how I can improve my communication skills as this is an area that I know I can be more successful.

My perspective has changed
