Summary

The Interview is a gripping locked-room thriller from C. M. Ewan, the acclaimed author of A Window Breaks and the half-a-million-copy bestseller Safe House.

It’s 5 p.m. on a Friday.

You have been called to an interview for your dream job.

In a stunning office 13 floors above the city below, you are all alone with the man interviewing you.

Everyone else has gone home for the weekend.

The interview gets more and more disturbing.

You’re feeling scared.

Your only way out is to answer a seemingly impossible question.

If you can’t...what happens next?

Don't let the title mislead you...

...it is good! The interview is a just a tiny part of the story, which is full of twists and turns to keep you wondering 'what is going on'.

Absolutely thrilling! This will stay with me for a long time!! Amazing storyline and I had no idea where it was going but the anticipation was killing me

Tedious detail

I really didn’t enjoy this! I just want interested in the plot. I found the whole book wasted time describing the setting which bore me to tears! Sorry but no!

Made my ears bleed

Don't know what these 5* reviews normally listen to , if this their best audible book.
For me , it was painfully slow and I had invested 4 hrs into this hoping for a bit of action , therefore I proceeded to spend another 6 just to see if we get anywhere 😀. Audible also doesn't want to return my credit 🙄

This would make a great movie. As a book......

This would make a great action movie but as a book the plot is somewhat lacking.

The plot leaves too many questions

Why would Joel hire a full office to do his dirty work when he could have questioned the victim at her home.
Why all the subterfuge with the phones etc.
Like
Too much unnecessary staging

Terrible lack of vacobulary

Not a bad story or badly performed but one of the worst books I’ve bought recently.

Unbearably dull

The book started well enough, it had my attention, I was even slightly intrigued for a few chapters. But after 40 odd cripplingly slow chapters of the same old tosh, it really starts to wear thin, and the thought of enduring another 75 is just too much to bear. In the end, I took the decision to forgo the conclusion in exchange for a happier life and the search for a book less terrible.
