About this listen

George started his day like any other. As he headed to work, the events of the previous night whirled in his head. He had finally had a date with the girl of his dreams and it had gone terribly wrong. Feelings of sadness and anger coursed through his veins. He had no Idea that these emotions would lead to the death of so many.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Interview to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the print version, as this is the kind of story I personally love to have read to me. The narrator did a wonderful job of getting me into all the characters, and she ramped up the chill factor just perfectly as the story progressed.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Interview?

The first meeting of George and Dr Williams. I felt gripped and intrigued right from the start at the interplay between these two characters.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

Without giving too much away, there's a scene where George frightens some people who are trying to bully and intimidate him. I very much enjoyed the way this was presented. But there were lots of other memorable scenes too.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I thought the whole relationship between George and Dr Williams was very moving.... I'll leave other readers to decide whether that was a good thing or not!

Any additional comments?

Yes, this a very subtle, spooky, intriguing novel. I could almost have imagined someone like Stephen King writing it, though the style is quite unique. I finished reading it several hours ago and I'm still thinking about it. I think both the author and the narrator are very talented and I'll be listening to more from both of them.

Gripping and atmospheric psychological chiller
