HERE'S TO JIM, AND WISHING HIM MANY MORE DAYS!

Jim's first day is a FANTASTIC first book in this series, & I was hooked from the start! I listen to & watch ton of stuff in the Zombie genre, and this story is original, has tons of (no pun intended) "infectious" dry humor, & the graphic detail is top-notch! I love Mark Tufo's Zombie Fallout Series and Jim reminds me a bit of Mike Talbot from that series. Just start this series, and avid zombie fans will definitely be coming back for more!

Welcome to the first day

What made the experience of listening to The Infected: Jim's First Day the most enjoyable?

The humor in the story is great! The narrator does a great job with the voices!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Infected: Jim's First Day?

When Karen is on the phone with Jim and starts finding out what's going on outside the apartment.

What about Steve Rausch’s performance did you like?

The way he acts Jim out is perfect! I love it. He gets so animated and into the character.

If you could rename The Infected: Jim's First Day, what would you call it?

I wouldn't rename it.

Any additional comments?

This book is great! I can't wait to start the next one!

Great first book!

This book was amazing! i was up most of the night listening to out because i didn't want to stop listening. The characters are amazing and suck you into their lives. The narrarator is fantastic! The characters came to life under this narrarator. lots of action, this book doesn't disappoint. I love all things Zombie and this book fills that need. You won't be disappointed if you purchase and add to your library. I can't wait to start book 2!

Great first novel

If you could sum up The Infected: Jim's First Day in three words, what would they be?

Non Stop Action

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jim was my favorite character. Loved how he stayed calm and collected when the world was going to hell all around him.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite part was probably when they ran into the crazy church group. Holy Cow.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

If I could have, I would have.

Any additional comments?

Excellent all around.

Good start to a zombie series

This was a good start to a new zombie series. I immediately started the second book. The second book is even better! I am really enjoying it and stopped only to take the time to come back and review it's predecessor. I will purchase the third book as well.

It was pretty bad

There really isn't much too say. I am really into zombie at the moment, but going into this book I wasn't being too picky. I liked the idea of a father/husband trying to make his way to his family. This story was just really hard to get into. Most of it was over the top, even for a zombie book. There is quite a bit of inconsistencies in the story. It's as if the author couldn't make up his mind if he wanted there to be mass hysteria or for everyone to be oblivious to the seriousness of the situation going on. In addition to that, problems that the characters faced throughout the story didn't feel very thought out. Too many people were coming and going, and I didn't develop a fondness for anyone. I usually don't like books from this genre because I get frustrated that the characters make dumb decisions or the story lacks logic. In this case it just wasn't a good book. I hate to say it but I think I've
ran out of decent zombie books.
