Summary

The honeymoon effect: a state of bliss, passion, energy, and health resulting from a huge love.

Your life is so beautiful that you can't wait to get up to start a new day, and you thank the Universe that you are alive. Think back on the most spectacular love affair of your life - the Big One that toppled you head over heels. For most it was a time of heartfelt bliss, robust health, and abundant energy - a firsthand experience of heaven on Earth.

Imagine what it would be like if you could maintain the honeymoon effect throughout your whole life.

Dr. Bruce H. Lipton describes how the honeymoon effect was not a chance event or a coincidence but a personal creation. Here, Dr. Lipton reveals how we manifest the honeymoon effect and the reasons why we lose it. This knowledge empowers listeners to create the honeymoon experience again, this time in a way that ensures a happily ever after relationship that even a Hollywood producer would love.

With authority, eloquence, and an accessible style, Lipton covers the influence of quantum physics (good vibrations), biochemistry (love potions), and psychology (the conscious and subconscious minds) in creating and sustaining loving relationships. He also asserts that we can learn from the example of the harmonious relationships of our 50 trillion cells to create a "super organism" called "humanity", which can heal our planet.

Good author, great book, poor reader

Great pointers on how to attract, create and sustain a respectful, loving and boundless relationship.
However, listening to Dr Lipton read his own material is exasperating! He's a good writer and clearly a brilliant scientist and brain, but he is not a proficient reader.

Dr Lipton - please either get elocution lessons or recruit a reader/performer for your audio books. This suggestion comes from a place of love and kindness, since it would be a shame to lose listeners who would otherwise so greatly benefit from hearing and applying your material. Thank you

*Wonderfully insightful... a must read*

The book was especially interesting due to the author sharing his personal experience and how he overcame his 40 year cycle. It was a shame to come to the end of the book. Although I feel a revisit is necessary! Thank you Bruce.... I feel empowered now on my own journey!

The possibility of change lies within us all. x

Thank you for a life changing experience. I have been practicing daily for weeks, months to stay in the moment, being conscious and aware. Looking back at my life now I see so much positive change and a feeling of leaving an old self behind. That person would rather dream of becoming something but lived that dream through day-dreaming, procrastinating and wasting away playing video games and or watching TV.

My love life was also chaotic with never any deep meaningful relationships but a long list of short bursts of what I thought was love as the time... "The honeymoon period".

Life has been a struggle but one that people did not necessarily see on the outside. I always remember my mum being told by a teacher back in primary school that always stuck out " there is something wrong with him, but we don't know what it is"

I was diagnosed with Dyslexia and ADD in my adult life but I found Dr Bruce H.Lipton , Gregg Braden, and Dr Joe Dispenza and then Dr Garbor maté, since then, I have been on a journey of positive transformation, finding my one true self.

My life now has purpose and meaning with a blissful feeling of love, happiness and gratitude. A new outlook on life guided by science and spirituality.

Thank you
lots of love
x

Great story but too drawn out if looking for facts

Loved the theory and the analogies applied but a summarised version of this book would be far more effective.

Bruce Lipton describes how our subconscious directs our behaviour and how he believes that we can train ourselves to get what we desire.

Simple, funny and wise

Beautiful book with good humor, interesting anecdotes and profound scientific revelations. This is one to read and re-read for anyone looking to find a deeper connection with themselves.

Utterly amazing

Not only does Bruce explain things in ways everyone can understand , the volume of knowledge and empowerment the reader can gain from reading this book is ineffable.

A book that truly compliments his previous work with books like biology of belief , all I can say is I personally will be spreading the words about his work, this book, and together create a ripple that will emanate across the collective consciousness of humanity, creating heaven on earth .

Good book

After seeing a video with dr Lipton and reading the comments I was very curious and excited to read the book. The chapters with quantum physics were interesting, but that’s all. After reading Chimp paradox (which is a masterpiece in human psychology), I was curious to see what else this book can teach me, but I was disappointed in the end, because of too high expectations. Performances they were ok ish, but was difficult to stay focus. Thank you for sharing your love story

One of my new favorite authors!

Will definitely be looking for more from this excellent writer! only two books on and I'm hooked. His scientific research backs up what shamans have known for millennia, but mainstream education systematically denies. Thanks for your courage and insight!

Good info but terrible narration

The author narrates the book, and it sounds like he is struggling to read. I'm not even picky about readers, but this was incredibly hard to listen to.

The information is very interested and laid out simply, so I enjoyed the topic but wish I had just read the hard copy instead.

Awful narration

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narration is awful. He's trying to read as fast as he can in such a monotone voice. It's very hard to follow.

Enlightening to say the least

Now I understand why I am single. I had horrible parents. Which means I have horrible subconscious programming. Thanks to this amazing book, I now know what to fix and how to fix it. I also have resources to continue learning. Thank you Bruce!!!

Don't waste your money. Waste of time

The narrator was hard to listen to. I learned nothing. Just a bunch of rambling on about authors failed relationships with not much insight on why they failed. Relationships are hard and some people just suck. Now you can go on about your day!

Honeymoon Effect

What would have made The Honeymoon Effect better?

Better narrator. I couldn't even finish the book, the narrator made it impossible for me to concentrate on what he was saying. Sorry Bruce!

Has The Honeymoon Effect turned you off from other books in this genre?

No

Would you be willing to try another one of Bruce H. Lipton’s performances?

No

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I can't say. I really, really wanted to listen to this book, maybe I will try to get it on Kindle instead.

Enilightening

Not what I expected but pleased overall. I like how everything was covered and brought together in the end.
