Actors were great, but storyline is so cheesy compared to the first one and unrealistic for a lot of it.

I loved the un-honeymooner and immediately got this book when I finished. It is terrible. I can only imagine the writers rushed a sequal to cash in on the success of the first book. The story is weak, and the relationship is so cringie, I had to fast forward most of it. The sex scenes were so bad I felt sick listening to them leading to more fast forwarding. The story was predictable with know innovation. I had hopes in there being a big twist linked to the secrecy around his job, but that was a massive disappointment too. This was so bad it makes me wonder if I can bring myself get another one of their books. Don't bother unless you feel compelled to listen to the worst romantic comedy of all time.
