Summary

The number one New York Times best-selling series continues with a thrilling revelation - three brand new tribes of dragons!

Growing up in the hives, Cricket has always had a million questions. Why are trees forbidden, even in art? Why do her parents seem to hate her? And the biggest, most dangerous and secret question of all: Why is Cricket immune to Queen Wasp's powers? Whenever the queen takes control of all the HiveWings, speaking through their mouths and seeing through their eyes, Cricket has to hide, terrified of being discovered.

Now she's hiding again, wanted for stealing the Book of Clearsight along with her new SilkWing friends, Blue and Swordtail, and the fierce LeafWing, Sundew. The fugitives need answers, and fast, in order to prevent a LeafWing attack.

But Cricket has more questions than ever. How can she stay hidden and discover the queen's deadliest secret? And if she does succeed - can a powerless dragonet really do anything to topple a regime and stop a war?

Obsessed with Wings of Fire

The Darkstalker book seemed like it was written by someone else but this book seems to bring it back to some of the original intrigue, plot, and character development. I get a little lost sometimes with the number of characters. I fear nothing will be as amazing as the first 9 books. The audio version saves me from reading the book when I don't have time but the speaker makes all the male characters sound like a bunch of idiots. I wish she'd just read the book and stop acting out the characters. All in all, any Wing of Fire book is better than no Wings of Fire books. So as long as she keeps writing them, we'll keep reading them. READING. Probably not going to buy another audio book though.

Story (the hive queen)

This is a great book, with the sound great, the only thing I wanna fix is the chapters, on the screen, it’s show one chapter ahead then what it’s really on, so that’s why I have a four star on preformace
