I think the age gap/forbidden aspect of this story was done well. Will pushed back against his own feelings and wants for a good portion of the book and I think his worries, concerns and hesitation surrounding his developing feelings etc for Colt were 100% valid, infact the times when Colt was dismissive of Wills concerns didn't endear me to his character and I thought it only served to showcase the maturity difference between them. My only issue with this and why it didn't reach 5 stars for me was there was a definite lack of relationship development between them outside of the chemistry and physical side, we didn't get a lot of on page moments of them forming a connection outside of the bedroom and although the spice in this was delicious in order for me to be fully invested in them as a couple I needed those moments.
Overall I am really enjoying this series by Ashley and this was a great addition to it. Aiden Snow & Teddy Hamilton narrate and they deliver with their perfomances, I thouroughly enjoyed listening to them as Colt & William and I think the characters they voiced really suited their tones and perfomance styles. 🌶🌶🌶
