Summary

For anyone who's ever been on the receiving end of an unsolicited dick pic....

He has the muscles of Adonis, an ego bigger than the sun, and a very clear desire to get back in my pants. Which would be fantastic if he weren't a SEAL and I wasn't a criminal.

Although, I prefer the term avenger. I'm a hacktivist, cleaning up the cesspool of cyberspace one scam artist and troll at a time, and I sometimes bend a few rules to get justice done.

He's a military man with abs of glory, sworn to uphold the letter of the law no matter its shortcomings. And if he'd known who - or what - I was, I doubt he would've banged me at my best friend's wedding reception. Or come back for more.

Which is why he's now the only thing standing between me and one very pissed-off internet troll who's figured out where I live. I'm pretty sure he'll get me out of this alive - and quite satisfied, thank you very much - but I'm also pretty sure this mission will end with me in handcuffs.

And not the good kind of handcuffs.

Contains mature themes.

Really enjoyed listening

I’ve just listened to this for the second time and still laughed out loud in places. Yes it’s whacky and odd but for me that’s the joy of this story. As you get further into it you can see why it’s whacky and odd but it makes sense. So if you like a hero and characters that are ‘characters’ rather than the run of the mill people with no individual personality you’ll really enjoy this one.

Couldnt finish. I really tried several attempts! Could not grasp the heroine as being with any manners of a heroine!

DNF

I LOVE Teddy Hamilton.... I could listen to him read the phonebook. This story was so slow, I tried to get into it but, fell asleep twice... If it hadn't been for Teddys voice, I would have never gotten past the first chapter he read, confusing and BORING!! It just really wasn't for me.....

ADORED! Pippa in audio is just as funny!!

I loved this book when I read it and have been wanting to listen to the audiobook. Even funnier is audio. After all, Eloise's thoughts and what she actually verbalizes, OMG, leaves me laughing hysterically when heard out loud!! And Rhett out loud? I love him even more!! Eloise doesn't trust easily. She and her brother have been all each other have for years. But girls in the band have embraced her and all her crazy. No matter how much she pushes at them, they stay. And she's been added to the lives of the ladies' men as well. Despite her awkward passes over time. That Rhett embraces her crazy wholeheartedly? *Le Sigh* Just love their one-upsmanship. They are hilarious AND hot! Rhett is hiding from the fact that he is feeling lost and purposeless after he and his team's last mission. He finds himself drawn to this outrageous pixie. She arouses him, worms her way into his mind, he can't help but be drawn to her emotionally and physically. Although, he tends to avoid admitting those things to himself. At least the emotions. After all, he's a big tough Seal. He's also super protective and caring for those who he sees as his. His teammates, his sister and her friends. His brothers. I absolutely adore Rhett! Teddy Hamilton is a great Rhett and Maxine was fantastic as our outrageous Eloise. (From the ebook review) Makes ya laugh til ya cry and makes your heart feel like it's going to explode from all the emotions! How can Pippa keep making men you can't help but fall in love with? Rhett just beat out all the rest for my heart! And Eloise makes me crack up but also just adore her too. I loved them! So good! All the Pippa Grant humor with that huge dose of feels!

silly rom/com Seal brother & nerdy band friend

This one was more absurd than funny. Nerdy Eloise’s story where she tries to help people and this time angers the wrong people so the hot Seal brother comes to her rescue. Narration was only so so and this story was boring when not straining for laughs.

Love this series!!

The navy seal abs the hacker make a great pair! More friends more family altogether a great group! I love how they always have each other’s back ( as it should be ) and each odd ball finds their perfect match . I love that they all have flaws and love each other anyway.

Love this book- have listen to it 3 times already!

A little raunchy/coarse, (not viewed as a negative mind you, just letting you know). The story has heart and the narrators do a awesome job. This was the 1st one I read in the series and made to want to read all the others. I'm now Pippa fan.

Read this one - Don’t Buy the Audio Book!

The story was good, fun, funny - typical Pippa Grant. The audiobook was a disaster from the first chapter! The male narrator, for some unfathomable reason chose to voice the hero as Zazu from the animated Lion King, with a nasal, high-pitched, whiny voice and rolled R’s that was SO not sexy! I couldn’t keep listening and exchanged the audio for the next one in the series.

Laughed so much!

I love this story. It was the first book by this author that I read and I’m so glad that I did. Rhett and Eloise are awesome. Their inner dialogue as well as their conversations cracked me up so much. This is definitely my favorite Pippa book. I definitely recommend this book!

A strange, wonderful love story.

Take a Navy SEAL and the Robin Hood of hackers and throw them in a blender of the weird and gloriously technicolor world of Pippa Grant and you got this book. Admittedly I can see why this type of romcom isn’t for everyone and I can totally see why it was totally for me. Pippa has the ability to make me laugh with a pause. That “I can’t believe it” sort of fun prose that she has and the whip-smart interactions with everyone. Rhett and Eloise is a hookup to remember. A crazy silly and sexual attraction that inevitably bring two people who though they should go about life on their own, but somehow and someway give into their own HEA. Of course with a ton of ridiculously fun bumps. I did a read and listen of this. It is narrated wonderfully by Teddy Hamilton and Maxine Mitchell. I actually enjoyed Maxine a lot in this. I really felt like she got Eloise. Teddy really nails the gruff attitude that Rhett was born with. If you enjoy Pippa Grant, you’ll love this.
