Summary

An old nemesis is out for blood....

Parker Ferro’s life would be easier if his enemies stayed gone. When the man responsible for the death of Parker’s mother breaks out of prison, Parker finds himself in the crosshairs of the Bureau of Paranormal Threats when he tracks the criminal down.

With succubae going missing, an old god on the loose, and his boyfriend’s mother in town, the last thing Parker has time for is human politics. But with a marriage proposal that he can’t quite figure out and mysteries that keep landing him in hot water with the feds, Parker must keep one step ahead or end up in handcuffs himself.

The Heart's Blood Arrow is a 130,000-word MM urban fantasy with an HFN ending and an ongoing storyline. It cannot be listened to as a stand-alone.

Brilliant

Another incredible installation to the series. Nick and Parker were wonderful as always. Narration was excellent as always and Greg Tremblay really brought this to life. Definitely my favourite narrator and one of my favourite series. Can’t get enough. Looking forward to the next instalment

Great

It was great although it wasn't really what I was expecting.

I still loved the characters. As for the plot, I was not 100% into it. I think I like this series best when the fae, the the court politics and the paranormals of San Amaro in general are more the focus of the story. Here, the plot wasn't bad but I was more involved in the characters and their relationships than the mystery plot.

As the San Amaro Investigations series continues and the more Gods are introduced the more I loose a bit of interest in the overall story arc of the series. BUT I'll still read the last two books because the characters are the best part -and because Greg Boudreaux/Tremblay is a great narrator.
