About this listen

Echo Adler hates Reign Davidson. He’s the reason the love of her life left her all alone and broken hearted two years ago.

So it should be easy to stay away.

It should be easy to not dream about his dark and mean eyes, or his cruel but sexy smirks.

It should be easy to not think about the guy who ruined her happily ever after.

Only it’s not.

Sometimes his intense stares make her heart race, and those smirks of his make her breathless.

But it needs to stop.

Because she has a mission: to get back together with her ex-boyfriend. And Echo will be damned if she keeps dreaming about Reign.

The guy who not only makes her sick with hate but who also happens to be her ex’s best friend.

NOTE: This is a standalone set in the world of St. Mary’s.

Another St Mary's Rebel with an angstfest. I was booked on Reign and Echo with all their back and forth and push and pull. The way SAK writes forlorn lovers will always be my favourite way to read it. Dragged out, painful with longing and so angsty you could cry.

I know what I said before, but I think this is my new favorite book in the St. Mary's Rebels series.
Bandit (Reign) is ma boi!
All the things he does for his Bubblegum even if a tad morally gray were 🥵.
Sure there were some times when I felt like 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ but overall I was hooked with their story.
From their meeting to the end.
So much angst, slowburn goodness.
Highly recommend this entire series!

Every book of saffrons is my favourite. Every time I read a new one it becomes my new favourite book. Every single book I read it drags me in. Pulls me in so bad that the slump I feel after is so bad I can’t listen or read another book for ages. Can’t wait for the next one

Amazing!!

First off, I found that I liked both narrators for the most part. The female narrator had a good normal tone for the female lead was good but overall, I just personally felt that when it came to tone variation between the multiple male characters, there wasn’t much if really any difference for either narrator.
When it came to the story itself, I really liked it. I felt like once again I got to experience a lot of the things I loved from previous books in this one. I also loved the character development, particularly with the main characters. They didn’t become completely different people, but they worked on themselves and became better and more honest versions of themselves. It made the journey as well as the ending all the sweeter. I also enjoyed the fact that there were several things that were unexpected to me.
After listening to this book, it reaffirmed my love of this author and has me excited for what she’ll give us next.

Reign Davidson, you are so hardheaded and stubborn, and I love you!

Echo and Reign were so much more than I anticipated. I loved their connection and their banter and the love triangle aspect of it all even though I really wanted to strangle Lucas most of the time.

I loved these two even when they were apart, they were just so right. I loved watching them find their way and seeing the aha moment! It was beautiful. I also loved getting little glimpses of the other couples in the series. I have loved every book in this series so much!

The grumpy/sunshine is always my favorite and this one was done perfectly! I also love the tortured hero and Reign was perfection.

James Amherst and Marie Hawkins did so good! They really made these characters even better than they are in the book. Their voices were exactly what I pictured for these two. I loved them.

SO Good!
