An addictive psychological thriller with a jaw-dropping twist

Three couples. Two secrets. One murder…

I can’t believe how lucky I am. I’m sitting by the glittering pool at a stunning Greek villa with my handsome boyfriend by my side. He’s treating me to a week on a sun-drenched island. The only problem is that we’re not the only couple staying here…

Dominic has invited his university friends. When I’m introduced to Victoria, Simone and their husbands, I see Simone’s lip curl and my stomach drops. I know that I’m not going to fit in with these beautiful people and their charmed lives.

But despite their expensive clothes and smooth words, the cracks in their perfect lives begin to show because more than one person staying in the white-washed villa is hiding secrets. As the lies begin to unravel, I discover that Simone and Dominic used to be a couple. And as the temperature soars the tension between our group heats up.

And then one morning, a body is found…

From bestselling author A J McDine, The Greek Island is an addictive psychological thriller that will keep you hooked until the final jaw-dropping twist! Perfect for fans of Claire Douglas, Freida McFadden and Ruth Ware.

Sadly I found this very similar to The Last Christmas. I was waiting for a big twist that didn’t really happen and one thing I struggled with, was the voice of felix. It’s an okayish listen from the plus catalogue if you’ve run out of credits but I wouldn’t have used up a credit for it.

It’s ok not the best

I am a really fussy reader and I return more than i keep and this book had me fully engaged from the very first page till the end! I actually looked forward to housework so i could listen for hours at a time🤗😂 The narration from every single one of them was outstanding and the voices really suited the people 😊👏🏽 I’m sad this has ended. Thanks to the author and the narrator’s, i could visualise the villa even down to the very last detail! There was lots of twists and turns that i thought i had guessed but was wrong with most🤣 Thank you for a wonderful book! And thank you to all the outstanding narrators!💯👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I highly recommend! 🥰❤️❤️❤️xxxxxx

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!💯👏🏽🤗

I really enjoyed this audio book and it didn’t take me long to finish. I read the reviews and I was close to giving it a miss, so glad I didn’t. The narrators were really good and matched the characters perfectly. It was very easy to follow too. Would recommend.

I’m glad I didn’t let the bad reviews influence me!

The story Is weak especially the ending which ends quickly. But the narrator holds the story together and enhances the characters making it great to listen tom I find myself looking for books narrated by the voice over rather than the author.

The performance
