About this listen

An unremembered past. A deadly power. A destiny she never saw coming....

Nic Rutherford is tired of feigning a normal life. She’d rather embrace her strange ability to track local predators and kill them with a kiss. And when her best friend dies, she demands a secretive werewolf help her cross the veil to bring the dead girl back.

When her shifter partner reveals the truth behind Nic’s forgotten history, she pushes further into the treacherous Fae realm. But when she trains with the Wild Hunt warriors, she may be signing a magical contract with deathly consequences....

Will Nic unlock the mystery of her former life, or will sinister forces swallow her soul forever?

The Goodnight Kiss is the first darkly violent book in the Unseelie Court urban fantasy series. If you like vigilante justice, relentless heroes, and graphic scenes, then you’ll love Gwen Rivers’ thrilling and explicit tale.

The Goodnight Kiss, the first book in The Unseelie Court, is a brilliantly written YA fantasy romance. The storyline is enchanting, fantastical, and utterly fascinating with components of Celtic, Norse, and Greek mythology. The characters were well-developed, fabulous, and captivating. Kate Marcin did an outstanding job with the narration, she captured the nuances of the characters, bringing them to life. The Goodnight Kiss had me intrigued from start to finish, it was a fantastic audiobook filled with action, adventure, mystery, a bit of romance and a fair few twists. The whole story was brought to life with the narration as was each individual character which made this audiobook a one sitting listen, I could not press stop and had to finish in one day. I really liked the concept of this story and look forward to listening to or reading the rest of The Unseelie Court series.
