Summary

When Lexi's boyfriend, Will, skips her friend's wedding to watch football, it might just be the final whistle for their relationship. But rather than getting mad, Lexi decides to even the score. When 'lost' tickets and an 'accidentally' broken television lead to them spending time together, she realises that revenge might be a good thing. If her clever acts of sabotage prove to be a popular subject for her blog, what harm can that do?

Hilarious and Soppy

As a miniature sporting widow myself, I can very much relate to Lexi, I'm not fully on board with the scheming but it made the book brilliant. A real fun one that definitely had me in tears at the end. SPOILER ALERT: they were happy.

Why is the word 'belly' used so many times???

What disappointed you about The Good Girlfriend's Guide to Getting Even?

Very repetitive story, main character is a bit dull and they are always going on about having a full belly, a sickly belly...I have never known this word to be used so much and so often. I listened to the book, cringing everytime the characters ate, because I knew they were going to say 'belly' many many times!

Would you ever listen to anything by Anna Bell again?

Possibly

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narrator was fine

What character would you cut from The Good Girlfriend's Guide to Getting Even?

None, there's only a few in it, but they need padding out to be more interesting and worth the several hours that a reader will spend listening to them.
