Summary
The epic and long-awaited new romance from the author of Letters to the Lost, winner of the RNA Award.
Selina Lennox is a Bright Young Thing. Her life is a whirl of parties and drinking, pursued by the press and staying just the right side of scandal. Lawrence Weston is a penniless painter who stumbles into Selina's orbit one night and can never let her go. Spanning two decades and a seismic shift in British history as World War II approaches, this is an epic novel of passion, heartache and loss.

Brilliant
What a beautifully written and read book. I was so immersed in the story I cried at the end. I was fully involved and submerged in the story.
Fantastic!

Heartbreaking, but so beautiful.
Beautifully written and performed. I recommend this book often. I adore it! Iona Grey is easily my favourite author. Her books are quite simply outstanding.

Could not finish this without great pain.
I had great expectations on reading the reviews for this book, but how disappointed I was. Maybe I can't do romances, but this seemed predictable, contrived and the voice of the boyfriend was awful.
