About this listen
What would you change if you could start all over again? From Leeanne Slade, the bestselling author of The Rebound and Told You So, and narrated by Daisy Edgar Jones (Normal People) and Sam Claflin (Me Before You), this summer, fall in love with Henry and Grace.
Five Years Earlier
Henry Dunne knows three things: that agreeing to host this raucous house party was a terrible idea, that he absolutely cannot show up to his nursing shift tomorrow with a hangover, and that the beautiful redhead in the corner will be sleeping in his bed tonight.
But what he doesn’t know is that Grace Monroe, the ambitious and fiercely independent chef catering this party, is about to walk a tray of cream cheese appetisers straight into his chest and turn his world upside down. Now, the work-a-holic with a reputation for keeping things casual is planning romantic dates and meeting the family. Utterly smitten, Henry now knows something else: that Grace is the one and that absolutely nothing could come between them. . .
Present Day
Grace Monroe is one day away from thirty, her restaurant has just been declared bankrupt, her beloved grandmother has been rushed to hospital, and she’s now sobbing in a packed train station. The only way life could get worse is having Henry Dunne – the man who showed her what true love and heartbreak feels like – see her like this.
And there he is, wordlessly watching her from the opposite escalator.
A bottle of wine and an erratic wish later, Grace wakes up to one hell of a life glitch: it’s five years earlier, her twenty-fifth birthday, and she’s got picture-perfect memory of the missing years. Grace’s plan is clear: save her doomed career and prevent the worst heartache she’s ever known. All she needs to do is stop history repeating. . .
Easy, right?

I award 4 Stars to fantastic, wonderful, Brilliant, great fascinating listens but I rarely give 5 Stars to any book but this listen was very special and deserved 5 STARS!
Leeanne Slade is a fantastic author and I have enjoyed listening to all of her books.
With this novel Leanne really smashed it out of the park.
'The Glitch ' is about so much, straight away it got me hooked. I am a sucker for a romcom/ Chicklit but as I have said this was so much more. This book made an impression on me and I will not forget it.
The fact it is a story from two points of view in alternate realities is mind blowing, then there is the TWIST! It's also about relationships of all kinds including a scoop of family relationships and friendship, a dash of spirituality, a dose of where people have came from with a very large sprinkle of LOVE and BELIEF🌠
I do not believe in "The One That Got Away" because what is meant for you, will not go by you, so that is why 1 MILLION % I totally believe in "The One aka Your Soulmate" this book has just validated that saying.
I would LOVE 'The Glitch' to become an amazing film, with the amazing singer-songwriter SAM RYDER providing the soundtrack especially with his song 'MORE' I believe it would be a global success!
The narrators were really good at their jobs. I would have used a credit to buy this book as it is truly worth it and I completely recommend you listen to this genius novel but luckily for us listener's this book was a FREE AUDIBLE LISTEN FROM THE PLUS CATALOGUE INCLUDED MEMBERSHIP👍😀

The author's skillful writing drew me into the lives of the characters, making me feel deeply invested in their journeys. The character of Dottie was particularly endearing, her bond with her granddaughter Grace adding a heartwarming layer to the narrative.
The novel's exploration of the consequences of youthful mistakes and the allure of rewriting the past was both thought-provoking and emotionally resonant. It made me reflect on my own life, considering the decisions I have made and the paths I might have taken!.
The narration is exceptional, bringing the story to life with vivid imagery and heartfelt performances.
Overall, I feel The Glitch deserves a five-star rating plus it was included in my subscription!!. I think is a must-listen for those who appreciate the power of second chances.
