Summary

Dead girls don’t run or tell secrets. Nicole, Dylan, and Jilly may have escaped the horrors of the auction house, but they aren’t safe. Madame Moirai has eyes everywhere. There’s nowhere the girls can go that can shelter them for long. On the run with no one to trust, it’s just a matter of time before they’re found.

Enlisting the help of a disgraced NYPD detective turned private investigator with demons of his own and a sociopathic criminal kingpin, the girls will discover just how far they’re willing to go to take down Madame Moirai. All they have is each other—and a dogged will to survive. But will it be enough?

This is so good!! Get ready!

Picking up where book one left off and I am still spellbound by this series. JH Leigh has me completely invested in the outcome of this case and I cannot wait to get to the bottom of it. The girls are out and seeking help to not only stay safe, but take Avalon down. This human trafficking conglomerate is strong, global and never leaves a loose end. Will Dylan and Nicole find their revenge? Entrusting their story to Badger, and underground leader and an NYPD detective, there is hope. Or is there? This book is action packed, full of suspense and horror! I could not stop listening and now, just where it leaves off, I am left hanging until the conclusion is released! It will be a pleasure to listen to it!

Sarah Puckett continues her narration with a bone chilling performance. She nails each of the characters, keeping the emotionally charged scenes full of the fear and anguish they need. I am loving her performance and look forward to the finale!

Not for the faint of heart

This book is brutal, with a past like these girls they are true survivors. They are complicated characters that need a lot of love. A fantastic performance.

This book picks up from the last one left off. The girls are out and looking to take Avalon down. This human trafficking conglomerate is world wide and never leaves a loose end. This book is action packed, full of suspense and brutal. Just amazing plot, you can not help but keep listening.

SO GOOD!

This story is amazing! I can't wait for book 3 to see what happens with Dylan and Nicole, I need to know all the things.

The story and the characters are so raw and real they are spectacularly real. I love the story development and the mystery behind all of it. There are so many things these poor girls have been through but their strength and resilience through it all is wonderful to experience. I feel as if I'm in the story with them while listening to these books. I love that about it the most. The way I get lost in the story, my emotions were everywhere while reading this book, I felt like I was experiencing it all with them. T

Sarah Puckett was perfection! She did absolutely amazing!

Spine tingling

Listening to this book was out of character for me. I started it while at a party and could not stop. Everytime I stopped it to participate in conversation, I was back quickly to hear what happens next, feeling like I’m going to miss out on the action. The characters are everyday people. The narration paired with the book well.
