Summary

An utterly gripping and twisty psychological thriller for fans of Claire McGowan, K.L Slater and J.A. Baker

Frances Brookman has just received the phone call every mother dreads. Her daughter Naomi has been in a life-threatening accident.

As she races to the hospital, Frances catches sight of a child in another car – a girl screaming for help.

It's a split-second thing and looks can be deceptive.

Should she follow the car and risk a delay getting to her daughter? Or do nothing and live with the knowledge that she didn’t help a child in need?

Enjoyed every moment

Cosy Crime might end up being my new favourite genre...I took a chance on this and found the story a very enjoyable mix of warmth and angst! I was hooked into the characters straight away no pesky bedding-in chapters and the plot took some nice unexpected twists. The ending was perfect too, kept me guessing right to the last minute.

The narrator did a marvelous gentle west country accent, All in all a really great read, excellent value for money with listening time and one I will definitely be reading again.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
