Fleeing her perfect boyfriend's flat on Christmas Eve, Savi gets stuck in a snow drift and takes shelter in a delightful cottage close by. The Gift is the second short story in the Destiny series and is a charming, predictable somewhat supernatural tale. Pity the characters are too stereotypical. But it's an okay read, narrated nicely by Amanda Stribling. It will fill an empty three quarters of an hour.
