Normally I really enjoy this author’s books but really struggled with this one. Found “Austins” voice really awful to listen to. Nearly gave up half way through. Wouldn’t recommend this one, author has written much better ones in my opinion.

Had all the right ingredients to make this an interesting story but I found it surprisingly bland most of the time and occasionally far-fetched and unbelievable. There was unnecessary padding at points and I found myself increasingly bored. The characters weren’t well-drawn or engaging and the narration was somehow wooden despite the voice actor’s clear ability with accents.

Terrible story boring outcome with uninteresting 2D vanilla characters with awful dialogue. The absolute basic -a plot that you’ve guessed the outcome of within the first 30 mins with ridiculous and unbelievable storyline.

can only listen to audio books due to having strokes. This is not my normal type of book, but I loved this story so much that I could not stop listening to it.
the story is so well written and read. I am going to download the rest of the books by this author. fantastic, you must must read or listen to this highly recommended. Well done xx
