About this listen

An exciting crime thriller with a ghostly edge!

A perfect new home…

When Jasmine moves into 13 Ravens Lane with her husband and two daughters, she’s excited to be finally settling into their forever home.

A tingle up the spine…

But very soon, it becomes clear that something is wrong with the house. Sudden drops in temperature, unexplained swarms of insects, plants that keep dying for no reason. It’s almost like someone, or something, doesn’t want them there.

A terrifying nightmare…

It’s not long before Jasmine is forced to question whether she and her family are really safe in their new home. Or if whatever is lurking somewhere inside is going to be the death of them all…

not quite sure what to make of this story, started off quite intriguing then got abit too silly and it never really went anywhere .

random story...

Not for me personally. I felt it was a weak storyline that didn’t really go anywhere, there were loose ends that needed tidying up… with regard to Poppy, Selena, and the other neighbours. I also felt the narration could have helped the story by using more light and shade when describing certain scenes. Sorry to fans of Lisa Stone but I didn’t care for this one.

Weak storyline

Enjoyable story. Easy listening and kept me engaged. However, it needs a better ending as it felt unfinished.

Enjoyable story but needs better ending.

Worst book i've read by Lisa Stone, I loved the cottage book and usually any other haunted stories but honestly this book was dreadful. I learned how to write better in primary school its actually filling me with rage the amount of times 'Jasmine Checked' has been used it sounds so childish, theres no description or adjectives at all just 'Jasmine said' 'Leah Said' 'Olivia asked' annoyed me throughout the whole story and it was very dragged out repetitive, a series of pointless events that don't really connect or go anywhere could have been shorter and the ending felt rushed so dull and basic.

Usually love this author but this sounds like it was written by a child
