About this listen

A sexy, single dad listen narrated by award-winning duo Sebastian York and Andi Arndt.

Single dad Andrew Beckwith has already devoted his life to one girl - and as far as he's concerned, she's all he needs. The inked, rough-around-the-edges bad boy left his reckless ways behind six years ago when his daughter Bell was born. When Bell's mother walked out of their lives, Andrew vowed never to let another woman close enough to hurt them again.

Amelia isn't just another woman. She's an independent, smart, and savvy businesswoman who doesn't have time for sex, much less love. In the midst of a drawn-out, bitter divorce, all she wants is to bury herself in work. But when sharp-tongued Amelia and stubborn Andrew cross paths, sparks fly - and burn.

After all, it's not as if opposites ever attract.

"A five-alarm fire of a book that will melt your e-reader...and a father-daughter relationship that will make little hearts pop out of your eyes." (Lex Martin, USA Today bestselling author)

The First Taste can be enjoyed as a standalone or as book two in the Slip of the Tongue series.

With an incredibly well written and developed plot, The First Taste brings us the joy that is Amelia and Andrew. Their seemingly unlikely pairing is perfect and Jesicca Hawkins has woven a plot that ensures that you have the time and space to really become involved and totally invested in their relationship. And, how hot is this book? 🔥🔥🔥!!
The narrators, Andi Arnt and Sebastian York are perfection. They capture and reveal Amelia and Andrew beautifully, while also bringing every other character to life, even the slime that is Reggie. Their nuanced and skillful narration is of such quality, that, as always, I was completely caught up in the story and just wanted it to go on..and on.
An exceptional book and audio! 💖💖

I loved the narration between my two favourites. I loved the way it was done and the story was great. It took a while for me to like Amelia but she is fabulous. Definitely recommend to listen to this book.

I loved this story

A well written story of 2 damaged people becoming close and falling in love. I was particularly impressed how sex honesty and intimacy developed the relationship. Too often in romance novels the sex becomes gratuitous, repetitive and totally boring. Of course having the wonderful SebYo and Andy Arnt narrate was a wonderful bonus.

A surprisingly charming story!
