Captivating

One of those very rare books that’s worth hiding from the world for a day and becoming totally absorbed with the story and characters.

A truly magnificent listen.

The story was engaging, the pace was fab, the ending didn’t disappoint. The best of all was the narrator Clare Corbett. I have listened to quite a vast amount of audio books and I truly believe that she is just excellent.
The writhing and the narration worked perfectly 10/10.

Brilliant

I have listened to hundreds of audiobooks from Audible and this is right up there with my favourites. It's a very addictive story with wonderful narration - Clare Corbett has a skilful, adaptable, lovely voice. I hated having to pause it at the end of my breaks at work! I actually woke up this morning planning when I could next listen to it. So looking forward to finding out how it ends. (Only 45 minutes to go!)

Gosh!

At last a book that delivers, after several disappointing listens.Great narration and a fast moving story. Lots of twists and gasps. Very sad and moving at times but a brilliant ending. Left me with an open mouth. would highly recommend.

Enjoyable listen

I liked this book, it’s not my usual choice but it was an entertaining story. Was a bit puzzled about the dates in the book, it’s set in 2007 and 1989 but references are made to things that were not around at that time snap chat and minecraft etc. Also character uses euros in France in 1989?! I know it’s fiction and it doesn’t detract from the story but thought it was a bit strange.
