Summary

The epic new thriller from the number one best-selling queen of gangland crime!

Kenny Bond. A murderer. A gangster. A good family man.

Meet the Bonds.

Kenny Bond is finally out of prison after doing a long stretch for killing a copper and is determined to get back to life on the straight and narrow.

A family like no other....

Kenny’s son, Donny, might lack his father’s edge, but his twin grandsons, Beau and Brett - well, they are Bonds through and through. Like him, they won’t let anyone stand in their way.

But they’re about to meet their match.

Family comes before everything else for Kenny, but there’s a feud brewing that could cause murder, and a new family on Dark Lane might bring the Bonds to their knees. Kenny’s determined that nothing and no one will threaten his family. But can the Bonds stick together when someone’s out to take them down?

Meet the Bonds.

You don’t want to be on the wrong side of this family.

So disappointed!

A great story from Kimberly as usual but a terrible narrator…he sounded as confused as I was most of the time as to who was supposed to be speaking and could not get any accents correct( apart from the main man Kenny)… where was Annie Aldington???

Where’s Annie?

Hated the narrator. Made the book far less interesting and also confusing when Kimberly is my fav author. Maybe need to purchase in paper form

Annie come back!!

After all the hype on social media, I was really excited to get my audio book.... what a let down. it's dull....No Annie Aldington.
I'm really sorry to say this but I was bored!!. The story was all over the place. Narrator did have a smooth nice voice but he does not suit this kind of book. PLEASE bring Annie back...

Narrators voice is really annoying

Really poor story overall too long spends an age going nowhere
Really disappointed Kimberley Chambers books are usually very good the narrators voice is probably the worst thing about this book but his accents did make me lol sometimes. Swerve this waste of a credit.

Enjoyable

Couldn’t stop listening to more which I find is the case every time with the wonderful Kimberley Chambers writing. Although, it isn’t her finest work, it was definitely a fun listen. I have read most books that are released by Kimberley and love her stories and writing, so decided to give the audiobook version a go, but wasn’t so keen on the narrator. He managed to do the job but I wasn’t entirely convinced. Is a must read if you are a fan of the author!

Great story, shame about the narration

such a shame that Annie Alderlington didn't narrate this, was hard to follow at times and lack of pauses between scenes confused the story 😕 always a good story to be had by Kimberly, but seriously disappointed in the narrator.

Narrator

Great story but felt it was being read by Boycie and grandad out of Only Fools and Horses. Sorry to say this spoilt this for me. A bit of a let down after waiting for the release.
