An excellent listen, the time flew by listening to this. I will definitely be checking out the other titles by the author.

Kept me rapt for hours

What could have been a rather dull and earnest post-apocalypse meander is actually a taut and densely plotted meditation on the nature of humanity and our goals. There’s plenty of page turning excitement and shocks aplenty, but they move the meditation along rather than overwhelm it, just as the meditation is anything but over-serious. The novel makes its points with gentle determination - no ranting.

The characters are believable and the reading and audio production are faultless. Enjoy.

Thoroughly enjoyable and thought provoking

Whilst the story had some legs, it was somewhat forced with the characters either laughably perfect or annoyingly annoying. There are some good moments and the occasional plot twist that you kind of knew was coming but was pleasant when it did but, in the main, very formulaic and whilst the concept was interesting, the characters journey really wasn't. There was one storyline and you followed it. It's a decent waste of time, but only if you have time to waste.

A bit too clichéd for me.

I'd never read or heard any of A. G. Riddles books before and took a punt on this one. I have to say, I really did enjoy it. I'm sure some folks can find fault with the plot and plausibility of it, but I liked the premise of it. The characters are interesting and believable and having listened to this I'm now a fan of the author's work. I like John Skelley as the narrator too. This was a big plus point to the overall enjoyment factor.

Unexpectedly enjoyed this!

Paper-thin goody vs baddie characters, whenever there's an obstacle the answer is always "the GPS coordinates", and the "twist" ending was just outlandish and terrible.
It had its moments of being entertaining though.

Meh
