Like the title says, this series definitely reminds me of Batman & Robin, with a hint of procedural drama in a medieval fantasy. I can totally see this being turned into a TV fantasy drama.

Very well written and crafted series of books ,couldn't stop listening, beautifully read sorry it's come to an end ,maybe there might be more?? Enjoyed and can recommend

Not knowing what to expect from this author I was surprised how much I enjoyed this series. The characters were believable and captured your imagination whilst listening transporting you back in time. The narration was excellent with the many different voices. Have now purchased book four to see how Finn progresses upon his journey. Highly recommended.

There is some repetition of incidents but well within tolerances. Sympathetic characterisations well achieved. Enjoyable.
