Summary

In The Entrepreneur Roller Coaster you will learn the best strategies Darren has ever collected from the most successful people on the planet, covering the four essential skills necessary for entrepreneurial success: sales, recruiting, leadership, and productivity.

This essential guidebook will prepare you for the wild ride of entrepreneurship. It will warn you (of forthcoming fears, doubts, and the self-defeating conditioning of your upbringing and past), inoculate you (from the naysayers, dream-stealers, and pains of rejection and failure), and guide you (as you build those underdeveloped skills of independence, self-motivation, and self-accountability) safely past the landmines that blow up and cause the failure of 66 percent of all new businesses.

Discover why NOW is the best time to #JOINTHERIDE.

Hint of Jim Rohn

Reminds me of Jim Rohn. Well done for the well crafted words and sentences that leaves a lasting impression.

Impact

Loved it. The content is so authentic. There were sections of it that brought tears to my eyes. The author/narrator 's voice was like music to my ears. The book causes you to want to take action

A MUST READ, doing after knowing is the key.

One of the most valuable resources I could lay my hand on.
Great proven practices, when implemented consistently over a period of time gives stunning results.
Be a doet not a dreamer.
Learning and not doing as good as not knowing.
So what's important is to ACTION ORIENTED.

Amazingly valuable advice - clear and concise

I found this to be one of the most to-the-point and impactful books I have read on entrepreneurship and success. Highly recommend. I will be listening to it again, probably several times.

THE PERFECT BUSINESS BOOK

Everyone needs to read this book. Doesn't matter if you an entrepreneur, MLM, inventor or still in corporate America there's ideas and questions everyone should answer in their working life. Best buisness audio book I've ever read. I'm buying copies for everyone on my team. This will help on every aspect of your career in easy to understand language. Darren challanges you to think smarter not harder to see ypur own potential. A confidence shot in the arm. Awesome Awsome, awsome. You won't be sorry or wasting your time with this one.

This is best book I’ve read in 2019

Lately I’ve been on a book binge and on that binge was the compound effect. After I was so deeply impacted by that book I decided to read this one, and it did not disappoint. Truly a must read

Gave up halfway though

If Tony Robbins-esque platitudes are your thing, you will love this book.

I don't, so I didn't.

The guy comes across as a huckster who selectively cribs his examples from actually successful entrepreneurs (think Steve Jobs, etc) to support whatever idea he might be wanting to push forward.

My advise would be to read their books instead, this guy is hardly insightful.

PRETENTIOUS

This is a book about an upper middle class guy who had $5000 dollars at 18 in the 1980's to put into a water filter business (Que inspiration).

He then moves on to some of my favorite quotes: "could you imagine a world without apple?" (yes! yes I can!). And a classic pretentious quote: " those who don't have a passion don't have a right to live" and "every one has a passion, they are just too [dumb] to realize it)" << I may have over exaggerated this last one.

A true fan boy of everything that's on TV and social media, He makes a ton of references to pop culture and sheeple interests. Basically another Elizabeth Holmes wanna be.

The book as a whole was a pretentious privileged rant. (think valley girl, Starbucks in hand, and apple products in the other)

I would skip this honestly. It wasn't worth a credit... might return if amazon allows me to.
Nothing here you can't find in other books. Just a bunch of talking points about failure (which was good, so 2 stars).

encouraging!

if you're looking for someone to tell you that "you can do it", if you're looking for encouragement, if you're looking for someone to tell you that there will be failures along the way but you will triumph then this is the book for you.

Just what I needed

He tells you how it is going to be. He does not sugarcoat it, and he make take a real hard look at yourself. I walked away knowing exactly what I need to do to create a more successful business. Thank you for writing this book.

Vapid and No Real Insights

Hardy fills this entire book with almost nothing. Glad it was free with the Audible subscription, otherwise I’d return it and ask for my money back.
