Summary

The end times have seen a great amount of interest within the last two decades. The Iraq and Afghanistan wars, the Arab Spring, ISIS, and the Iranian stand-off have focused us on the future of the Middle East - the center of the Bible's prophecies about the last days. Yet there hasn't been a comprehensive overview of biblical prophecy and eschatology for more than five decades.

Mark Hitchcock's book is that comprehensive resource for the 21st-century listener. The End will provide a solid biblical foundation for Christians to explore the essential truths around this topic - the end of the world.

Don't get the audible version

This is a very annoying book to listen to. Nearly every other sentence is interrupted by footnotes. This would be fine for a physical copy in which case you could go back and refer to but someone really dropped the ball in having the narrator read them along with the text. Don't get the audio version or you'll quickly see how it ruins the listening experience.

The End, a review of The revelation of Jesus.

I enjoyed reading this book about Revelation. the last book of the Bible. The author used many other scriptures to describe his thoughts on many topics, always going to scripture for understanding. He also mentions the thoughts of several other people and where to look for them. Good Read.
