Summary

The ninth and final book in the Realm of Arkon series.

The world stands on the edge as the Ancient Gods advance on the Great Forest. An enemy from a past life aims to transform into a Beast and destroy Providence itself....

To stop him, all must stake their life on the Scales of Fate. All must make a choice, THE choice. Death in battle or life in slavery. A beautiful demoness' smile or the eternal, infinite Void.

So good

Congratulations G. Akella. Out of the 30 LitRPG series I’ve read, you have created the best ending of all. Truly remarkable.

A great series... runs out of steam toward the end.

The best thing I can say about this book is that it wasn’t as bad as the one before it, because that one was absolutely terrible. Unfortunately, this book doesn’t come close to the promise of the first several books in the series.

If you managed to make it through to the end of the train-wreck that was the second to last book I guess you should probably read this one for closure’s sake. However, I really don’t understand how this book got so many high reviews. The plotting is clunky and the author races through it to get to the end.

It felt like he was just trying hit all the necessary plot points that were foreshadowed in the previous books without bothering to actually flesh anything out or even try to live up to the the promised climax that has been so long coming.

This book was extremely underwhelming for an installment in this series, but considering it’s the ending of the whole thing I don’t know how anyone could finish listening to it and not be totally disappointed.

Elder Demon

Ha!

That was beautiful.
A great story, well told and preformed exactly in the way I expected from Podehl.

Worth it.

Well Done Author

Now that is how you end a series. A satisfying conclusion to a great book spanning Litrpg series. Those who have followed the story this far will be satisfied with the conclusion. Minor spolier: the point of view is mainly Roman 's. While I enjoyed and looked forward to Max's point of view, the story started with Roman and concludes with him, which is fitting since this is really Roman's story. From the fans of the series: "Well Done Author", well done.

Great end to a great series

loved the series from the very beginning. I am sad to see the characters go. A fitting end and tie's everything up neatly. Hoping to see more from this author soon

Hate it and Love it!

I hate that the series has ended but I also love that it has a conclusion. So many authors stretch their stories in order to get an extra book or two or five. While this was an extended series, I don't feel like it was drawn out. Thank you Mr. Akella for an awesome and thrilling literary ride!
