Time is running out as 10 unlikely companions search for a way home, while one member of the group plots to keep them all trapped in the past.

Who will survive?

At first I thought this is a bit strange, but soon you get to know the characters and feel their emotions and picture in my mind what they could see and hear.

Very entertaining

Story was really fun with well fleshed out characters and staying true to the most up to date science of the time.
I'm a narrator myself and the performance of the narrator here was truly masterful. making clear distinctions between characters with ease.

More like Dinosaur 5 Stars

This book focuses on a group of people residing in a cafe who are sent back in time to the Jurassic period. How does this happen? You'll have to find out. Who will survive? Four of the ten, presumably.

It's quite a quick listen and although the story is quite straightforward (try and survive and get back to the future), the characters are varied enough to keep things interesting throughout. I can't admit to following exactly who was who at times, the deaths were sometimes a tad too over described considering the tone of the rest of the book and the villain was a bit too 'evil' for my tastes at times but it was a solid yarn and if you are looking for a time travel dinosaur book then this is a solid addition to that particular genre. There are definitely better books out there but if you can get it for a cheap price then it's a fine listen.

Fine

It isn't a who dunnit, it's a who is going to not die book with some dinosaurs and i really enjoyed it, especially as I've had some highly rated books recently that have bored me to tears.
This is something very different..
Within a few minutes the plot starts
(I was surprised how quickly)
no dithering about and it doesn't stop.
I finished this in two days, it's one of those that I didn't want to stop listening to.
There were no dull bits, I just really wanted to know what happens.
It isn't going to be to everyone's taste though...!

Thoroughly enjoyed this, credit well spent.

Cons first -
Multiple perspectives in each chapter- but prose is not harmed by it.
Somewhat rushed and bittersweet ending but satisfying enough.

Pros-
Herbivorous dinosaurs are depicted as actually dangerous and highly lethal animals like moose, buffalo and elephants.

Edmontosaurus, Triceratops, Struthiomimus and Titanosaurus feature in the herbivore cast

Predators still get their chance to shine and shine they do. The cast included are Tyrannosaurus, Deinonychus and a crocodile, possibly Deinosuchus.

Human characters feel authentic and believable as well as fully fleshed out.

Brilliant prose and action.

Narrator is a talented voice actor and does an excellent job. Could follow the whole story beginning to end.

Beautifully realised and sincerely hope we get a full cast audio drama or a film adaptation from this.

Overall- 8.5/10

By far one of the best dinosaur adventure horrors I’ve listened to.
