Excellent start to the duet . The flashbacks were great it gave you insight to how Cane and Damien turned out the way they did . The MM scenes were excellent and I’m going to listen to book 2 now.

Loved the plot and the shifting dynamic between the 2mmcs. I’ve read the ebook version before so knew all the plot twists before going in but it didn’t loose any of the anticipation. Was a bit disappointed with dual narration as the narration of the mmc within the fmc’s PoV chapters didn’t shift between the characters and vice versa so that was a bit annoying
