About this listen

When local teenagers discover a body at the disused Denbigh Asylum, it seems that his murder might be linked to a modern slavery ring trafficking young people from the Indian subcontinent. However, social media then reveals that the victim was involved in a toxic relationship which may provide a clue to his death.

When there is another murder, the focus of the investigation switches again. With time running out, Ruth and the Llancastell CID team must find the killer before they flee the country and disappear.

The Denbigh Asylum Killings is the fifteenth book in the DI Ruth Hunter Crime Thriller Snowdonia series. If you like chilling police procedurals, true-to-life characters, and psychological twists, then you’ll love Simon McCleave’s gripping thrill ride. Perfect for fans of JD Kirk, JM Dalgleish, Rachel McLean and LJ Ross.

I have read all in this series and already bought next one. Highly recommend. Not too graphic and story goes at a good pace so you are kept hooked. The characters are all well written and easy to understand.

There is a funeral chapter in this book that makes absolutely no sense it was only when it appeared again in Colwyn Bay book I realised why Does no-one check these books as there is anotheer repeat chapter in Colwyn Bay about the jubilee that was in another book very poor
