Walk away, pretend this book just doesn't exist !!!
This book was nowhere near as good as the first or even second book and was a sucky ending to what was a genuinely a good story in the first book. I don't wanna spoil the end for you, so I advise you not to read this book, you are better off imagining your own ending and savouring the mystery, than reading this and wishing you hadn't.
I suggest the author should release a new 4th book which entirely replaces the 3rd book and all the events in it and then no one mentions the third book ever again.

brilliant book
this was a brilliant book with action and had a great story line. This book is the 3rd book in the maze runner series and is awesome. I would recommend this book to people who are 13+ as it has some violence in the book and will probably scare children below this age.
The subjects gat a choice whether they want there memorys back, But will they choose to get them back? They find out who is imune to the flair and who isn't. Three gladers decide to escape from wicked with inside help. But will they be leaving there friends behind or will they be the ones who were left behind? Can they survive the real world? They must help the right arm with an old enemy in the group. with a brilliant plan but will they be able to get rid of wicked once and for all? with a brilliant plan or will the plan backfire and make them fight against the clock to save everyone in time and themselves. hear as some of your faveroute characters fall and others stand tall and try there best to survive

Very little story progression to warrant 3rd book
I started the series, so I continued to the end.
Think I've already summed up this book by the Title. Whilst there are still unanswered questions before, the discovery doesn't add any wow factor or relevance yet the strafe to continue and battle goes on... and on and on. I lost interest with the characters through the repetitive nature of the story. I think the author struggled to portray an ending of reverence when there was plenty of room for changing pace and exploring some tactics where they gain an upper hand, not to mention friendship, romance or explore what a new beginning would entail. Not the best of endings in my opinion.

Good finish
I felt the story lost its power after The Maze Runner and it carried on mainly to fill in plot holes and to try and finish off some explanations. That being said the two main characters Thomas and Minho were fairly compelling although many of the other characters such as Brenda and Teresa became more two dimensional. I enjoyed the story overall but the first book was so good, the second books struggled to compare.

Without a doubt this was the best book in the series. It had everything you could want in a truly great and unique story and for once a happy ending. Gotta love a happy ending. Fun but a little vague
The trials are over - or are they? WICKED wants to promote the surviving Gladers from guinea pigs to partners in the search to find a cure for the deadly flare. The Gladers are divided with many, Thomas included, struggling to believe that this really is the end. Are WICKED’s promises just another variable in the process and is the cure really within their grasp?
After the build up and intense action of the last two novels, I feel a little let-down with this installment. For at least three quarters of the book, I felt that there was no real purpose behind what the characters are doing. They had no plans and just seemed to be running around wherever chance would take them. The first two books in the series had clear objectives, and the characters James Dashner created were so driven, it felt very out of place to have them just going with the flow.
Some of the plot points also seemed so inconsistent. WICKED is such a technologically advanced entity, yet they don’t have cameras in the rooms and a bunch of kids can overpower an entire battalion of security guards? They don’t go after Thomas, even though they know where he is and they believe that the entire world’s fate depends on him? Some of the scenes also seemed cliched and contrived, especially those scenes with the ‘rat man’. I also felt that the novel lacked proper closure on some key points.
The ending was unexpected but satisfying. I love that Dashner didn’t go with the obvious ending. There was a bit of a moral story in this series, which I enjoyed, and the end of the novel was fast-paced, imaginative and action-packed. Overall, still a fun series.

Maze runner death cure - a cure for reason
What disappointed you about The Death Cure?
immaturity of the story and plot
What was most disappointing about James Dashner’s story?
his lack of coherent thought
What didn’t you like about Mark Deakins’s performance?
it was impossible to enjoy Deakin's performance as getting through the story was agony
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Death Cure?
book 2 and 3 can't be salvaged though book 3 is far worse
Any additional comments?
this book can only be appreciated by thoughtless teenagers and retarded adults. read the 3 books to know how it would all end. though the journey was harrowing and i had to take many long breaks before i could continue or finish the books the end only left a bad taste in my mouth.
