Critic reviews

An excellent premise and explosively enjoyable finale.
Over the past few years, T.M. Logan has more than earned his 'master of the up-all-night thriller' moniker, with a raft of fast-paced chillers revolving around ordinary people caught in extraordinary situations. Now he's ramping it up a notch with this ambitious story . . . With huge timely themes, this nail-biter will play on every parent's worst fears.
Every parent's worst nightmare. This twists keep coming in this absorbing thriller.
Absolutely breathtaking. An utterly gripping and chillingly real thriller that plunges you head-first into one of the most compelling race-against-time mysteries I've ever encountered.
T.M. Logan is the master of family-in-danger grip lit and The Daughter is his most terrifying and addictive yet.
T.M. Logan does it again with another killer thriller! The Daughter plunges us deep into a mystery that left me breathless in my race to solve it. Propulsive and compelling, this truly is a read-in-one-sitting thriller.
My favourite T.M Logan yet . . . this pacy, gripping thriller kept me glued to the pages as it explored every parent's worst fear in a captivating story that didn't let up. Full of suspense and intrigue, I didn't guess any of the twists and turns, making THE DAUGHTER impossible to put down. A 2025 must-read - a book to binge in one sitting!
Explosive, out of this world pacing, non-stop action, hugely likeable characters, brilliantly twisty - I inhaled it in two sittings. Outstanding - readers will adore it.
A novel which delivers all the pace and brilliant twists that I have come to expect and love from T.M. Logan's books. A superb read.

I’m a big fan of T.M. Logan and have loved all his previous books, but this one didn’t quite live up to the others for me. The story was interesting, and the pace picked up towards the end, with some great twists along the way. However, what really impacted my enjoyment was the narration. The delivery felt jerky and monotonous, with awkward pauses and little distinction between characters. The narrator stopped and started sentences in the oddest places, often pausing after every word, which made it frustrating to listen to. T.M. Logan, please consider a different narrator for future audiobooks!

Narrator ruined the story

Overall the book is good and a story with lots of twists and turns but for me the narrator had an annoying voice. Sorry but just my opinion.

Annoying Narration

I was enjoying the first part of the book. it seemed like a good psychological plot. At least good enough for me to ignore the narrators weird way of reading, with every word almost in its own sentence, and quite mono toned. But then the plot moved into a far fetched story of drugs and violence. I had to get to the end through sheer curiosity but I had to keep leaving it for and hour or so as the narration, and the plot, increasingly irritated me. A strange experience, this book, not one I'd care to repeat.

Enjoyed the story in as much as I listened to it, however I couldn’t finish and returned the title as I didn’t like the narration. I found it grating and petulant
