Vampires, God's & worriors, the like you have never known. On top of that there is an introduction to what I see as the akashic records, like an all knowing entity resembling a conscious nature... its brilliant. As most epic storylines start, it's a little slow while you learn the characters names & personalities but it grips you without you realising. Once I got to half way it was non stop.
Brilliant & original storyline, like nothing I have ever read before so I'm very much looking forward to the sequels.
The book has taken a beating after myself, my wife and now my daughter started reading it but she has purchased the AUDIBLE audio book version which is the path we will go down for books 2,3 & 4.
If you like a dark, fantasy storyline that is completely unpredictable & original then get this book, you won't be sorry.
