Summary
Abby thought she was running away from her problems, but she wound up running into the arms of her worst nightmare.

I thought I had found the perfect guy. Jake was handsome and sexy, and had eyes that could get me to do just about anything. The problem? The thought of being in love scared the hell out of me, so I called it quits and ran before I got in any deeper, driving off into a crazy winter storm.
When I woke up the next day, I was in a strange hospital and slowly came to the realization that I was being drugged and held there against my will by my ex-boyfriend Jake. He claims he's someone else though, a doctor in this dark, creepy private hospital in the middle of nowhere, but I know it's him, and I don't know how I'm going to get out of here.

Dark & Steamy
The Dark Doctor took me on a scorching, dark, and twisted ride, and I loved it! I've wanted to listen to this audiobook for a couple of years, and I was not at all disappointed. Logan McAllister's narration was spot-on, bringing the characters to life. If you like your romance dark and hot, then you'll most likely enjoy this audiobook. All I can say is WOW!!!
Okay I’ll say more.... this book kept me on the edge of my seat. Even when I thought I had figured it out, I was still second guessing myself. I just wish that the differences in the voices had been more pronounced.

This book started out a little slow for me then it got a bit confusing then it just got crazy. The storyline was definitely unique and unusual mixed with a bit of creepy and strange. I think Logan McAllister is a really good narrator but it just seemed like since the story was primarily from Abby's point of view that the narrator would have been female instead of male. If you like stories that take you outside the box, then you might want to give this one a try. I received this audiobook via Audiobooks Unleashed at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.
