Summary

A haunted house in Key West.

Hannah O'Brien, who grew up in the house and now runs it as a B and B, has always had a special ability to see a pair of resident ghosts. But when a man is murdered in the alley behind her place, she's dismayed when his spirit appears, too, asking for help.

FBI agent Dallas Samson has a passionate interest in the murder, since the victim's a colleague whose death is connected to the smuggling ring known as Los Lobos - the wolves. Now Dallas is even more committed to chasing them down….

Unaware that Dallas has certain abilities of his own, Hannah calls her cousin Kelsey O'Brien, a member of the FBI's Krewe of Hunters, an elite unit of paranormal investigators. The present-day case is linked to a historical mystery involving salvagers, a curse and a sunken ship. Danger and desire bring Hannah and Dallas together, but to survive, they have to solve the mysteries of the past - and stay alive long enough to solve the crimes of the present!

Book 13 of The Krewe of Hunters Series

Set in Key West, a U.S. island and part of the Florida Keys archipelago, this story is set against historic pirates and lost treasure stories.

Paranormal occurrences, murder and romance are all part of the winning formula of The Krewe of Hunters series and this is no exception.

Not a believable story.

This story is not believable and not worth my money. It sounded to comical and fake.

The Cursed

This is the 3rd Krewe mystery I’ve read by Heather Graham. They have all been good individually but read one after the other, there are striking similarities in each story. Good thing they are part of the Romance Package so I can return them without regret.

one of the best

I have listened to all preceeding Krewe of Hunters by Heather Graham books and found some of them to be redundant, or difficult
to believe. Even though the subject matter of ghost is a little out there, this book was well managed with obvious research done on the location. I would recommend this book even if it is the first read of the Krewe books.

My Favorite! Riotous Spiritual Collaboration!

This story was just lovely! The tension between the protagonists dissolves when the parlor is filled with - well you'll just have to find out! This was a great progression for Heather Graham to make in the beautiful Florida Keyes. And perfectly, the girl "always gets her man!" Again, the perfect blend of mystery and romance laid on the fascinating backdrop of a vital piece of American history.

Solid addition to series

I am a fan of this series. I know that they can be a bit predictable but they are entertaining. It also doesn't hurt that Luke Daniels is a great narrator. If you like the Krewe, get the book!

Great

Any additional comments?

Loved this book. I enjoyed that she tied in some characters from The Bone Island Trilology because that was another great series. The story is intreging and the characters were really well developed-like you would think they were real people. Great read.
